Combat Clayshield is an inexpensive, low density, BBA certified EPS compressible fill formulated to reduce pressure on foundations such as ground beams and the sides of trench fill up to two metres deep. And Clayshield meets the requirements of compressible fills recommended as a safeguard against clay heave by both the Building Research Establishment and the National House Building Council.

Fermacell is a general-purpose high performance board, which can be used as an alternative to plasterboard. It contains roughly the same constituents but is made in a totally different way. The 80% gypsum is mixed with 20% cellulose fibre and water to form an homogenous high-density board more like MDF than plasterboard. It is available in one grade only: the standard board is impact, fire and moisture resistant, with superior acoustic and load-bearing properties than plasterboard.
